crap bag

......because I feel like a big giant steamy bag of crap. :(

Troy and I are both sick. We both want someone to make us soup. We both want someone else to get up and get the kleenex. Blaaah.

This is my punishment for working 12 days straight. Now, unless I make a miraculous recovery, there will be no snowboarding this weekend. however.....I could achieve that frozen snot like Dumb and Dumber. That could be funny.

All I can think about is soup, vick, kleenex and a hot bath with lots of steam and bubbles.

being rude

http://www.cnn.com/2008/LIVING/personal/11/11/o.are.you.rude.test/index.html

I'm adding my own:
-coffee/smoke breath......get a mint
-people who stop in the middle of the road in neighborhoods to 'chat'.....either pull off to the side or talk later...I've got places to go.
-people who stop on the on ramps to the interstate....now you've gone and done it, there's no way of getting on now.
-the guys at my work who use MY restroom (I'm the only woman here, so it is mine)
-people who are late....in general. Whether its to an appt, a date, an event, a meeting.....really. If I said 5pm, I meant 5. I didn't mean 5:15. Troy used to pull that crap when we were dating. He's lucky he was charming enough to make up for being late.. ;)
-Lakers fans at a Nuggets game. 'Nuff said.

whooop whoop

I now have two followers.

3 weeks from today is Turkey Day.....but not so much that as 3 weeks from tomorrow is the most fabulous shopping day of the year. Last year, we got a Dyson and a KitchenAid mixer...along with a bunch of other little house things. I can only imagine what the stores hold for me this year. And yes, I was IN line at Kohl's at 4:45am for my mixer. If you can't run with the big dogs, go home (or something like that).

My eybrows hurt today from waiting so long to wax them. I think I waxed enough off of each of them to provide for a new set of brows. Donate 'em to brows of love.

momma always said.....stay outta the rain child!

the end day one..

First and foremost...thanks Cara, for being my first subscriber. You have earned yourself an adult beverage on the 26th.

Secondly...on my way home tonight, I was listening to my favorite radio show...OPP (other people's problems). Today's show was about a girl who hadn't told her BF about her massive amounts of debt...which leads me to this- A girl called in and told everyone about her situation. She had been married a year and a half to her boyfriend who she met at the age of 13. She had unknowingly married into $150,000 of debt. Apparently her BF had inherited his mother's debt after she died. So now, she is in this marriage, she can't purchase a house, and they can't have kids b/c they can't afford it. She doesn't trust him b/c before they even got married, he lied about his debt. The radio host said 'well, get a divorce'. She can't. Her father is a lawyer and if she divorces him, she 'gets' half of that debt. All I can say is, wow......that sucks, and I'm thankful for a husband who hates credit cards. God bless him.

I waxed my eyebrows today and I no longer look like the peanut smelling girl on the Planter's commercial.
G'day.

in the beginning edit

I misspoke.....
I've been taking a peek at all the photos from friends who live in or near Chicago. Bryce.....not sure you'll even read this.....I got teary eyed from you photos. Way to go.

I'm moved. Today does feel 'historical'.
